Inside, this McLaren was fitted with optional Carbon Black and Stone Grey leather upholstery, plus dual power/heated seats, carbon fiber wheel arches, a color-coordinated steering wheel, contrast stitching on the dashboard, the carbon fiber trim package, carbon fiber sill panels, a Meridian surround sound system, front/rear parking sensors, and branded floor mats. Note the thick door sills, which are part of the MP4-12Cs “Carbon MonoCell”, a full carbon fiber tub that weighs just 165 pounds and contributes to a sub-3,200 pound curb weight. The twin-turbocharged 3.8L V8 was rated at 593 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 445 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm when new. Power is channeled through a paddle-shifted 7-speed dual clutch transmission. In period testing, 0 to 60 mph was achieved in three seconds flat, on to completing the quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds. According to the seller this MP4-12C has been dealer-maintained, and some service records accompany the sale. Approximately three months ago an oil change and fluid service was performed, and several hoses were replaced.
